Oyster Shell provides a long lasting PH adjustment for your soil, improved soil tilth and a steady release of nutrients. Oyster Shell also provides structure to your soil that improves microbes.
Application Rate:
Gardens & Raised Beds:
Apply 2-4 tbsp. per square foot and mix into the top 3″ of soil in spring or fall. New transplants, add 1-2 tsp. per hole, mix into soil and water.
Outdoor Containers:
Add 1-2 tbsp. per gallon of soil and mix. For established plants, mix 1-2 tbsp. per gallon into the soil surface every other month during the growing season.
