Greensand known as glauconite has been formed from organic matter from marine life for thousands of years. It has a slow release of 1.4% potash and other critical micronutrients including zinc, boron, sulphur, iron and manganese. Greensand also adds excellent water-holding capacity to soils
Application Rate:
Gardens & Raised Beds:
5-10 lbs per 100 square feet and mix into the top 3″ of soil.
Containers & Houseplants:
Add 1-2 tbsp. per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly. For established plants, lightly mix 1-2 tbsp. per gallon into the soil surface every other month during the growing season.
