Diatomaceous Earth works through mechanical action. The sharp edges of the amorphous silica in this product will cut insects which will cause them to dehydrate and eventually die. Diatomaceous Earth is a nontoxic, food grade product.
Application rate:
Dust onto plants. Outdoors reapply when it rains. In your home apply liberally in crevices and places where bugs pass. Wear a dust mask when applying.
