Blood Meal is a fast acting, natural high N organic fertilizer that works well for leafy greens and vegetables with high N requirements such as beets, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, swiss chard and kale.

Application Rate

Vegetable Gardens:
Add 1-2 tbsp. per square foot and mix into the top 3″ of the soil. For large gardens, add 2-3 lbs per 100 square foot, and mix into the top 3″ of the soil. For transplants, add 1 tsp. per hole, mix into soil and water. Established plants should be side dressed 1-2 tsp.
Outdoor Containers:
Add 1-2 tsp per gallon of soil and mix. Established plants should bemix 1 tsp per gallon into the soil surface monthly until the end of the growing season.
